Help Acaciawood SEED Grow!

Our Story

Acaciawood SEED launched in the Greater Boston area in the Fall of 2023. It is an extension of Acaciawood Preparatory Academy based in Anaheim, California, and shares the same mission

After many changes throughout the first two years, we are now located in a beautiful building on a tranquil campus in Newton, MA for our third academic year (2025-2026). Both the building and the grounds of the campus provide ample space for all kinds of learning and exploration!

This year, we expanded our enrollment to include elementary graders. Altogether we are serving 27 students from preschool to 5th grade with 4 full-time teachers, 2 part-time assistants, and a number of parent and community volunteers.

Between “Wheels on the Bus”, “We’re the Sheep”, or weekly verses and scriptural songs, the students are learning and growing in a healthy and loving atmosphere day by day!

A Peek into our Program

We have one preschool class for children between 2 years 9 months to 5 years of age and one kindergarten class. The environment is set up for the children to easily access available materials and activities to foster creativity and learning. Our curriculum includes developmentally appropriate instruction catered toward a wide range of learners, whole group/circle time, Bible verses, Bible songs, small group instructions, learning centers (independent exploration), outdoor play, and a variety of hands-on activities. The primary language in the classroom is English, however, children from all language backgrounds are welcome and we will all learn from one another!

Fund-raising! (updated 6/10/2025)

We have a significant need for donations for this Fall. Our expansion into elementary grades requires a number of upfront costs as described below. In addition to funds (which gives us the most flexibility), we are also open to receive donations of books (link to our Amazon list), classroom furniture, music instruments, sporting equipment, and computer equipment. Please contact us at SEED@acaciawood.org for more information or if you'd like to help!

1. EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES: As we expand into elementary grade levels, we are investing in a number of areas including building a library of high-quality books, furnishing new classrooms, and setting up music, sporting and computer equipment. With your support we will be able to create a rich environment for our students to grow and thrive in.

2. PERSONALIZED LEARNING: We are committed to delivering the best learning environment for our students by leveraging both technology and a high teacher-to-student ratio. This requires significant development costs, especially at this stage when we are building up the model. With your support, we hope to establish this new model of personalized learning and also make it transferrable and available to families anywhere in the world.

3. TUITION ASSISTANCE: Besides supporting a number of families who would not be able to enroll their children otherwise, we keep our tuition low compared to the area average for all the families. Your support will continue to help us keep our tuition low and support families needing tuition assistance so that they can continue to participate in Acaciawood SEED.
